Account Manager

Job Purpose

To play a leading role assisting ANSecurity achieve its sales, revenue and profit goals
by increasing sales from existing Customers and winning new ones.

Specifically, this will entail the successful candidate carrying out direct professional
services and solutions sales activities: campaign based prospecting, networking,
relationship building, top notch presentations delivery, producing compelling
proposals to qualified prospects. In the process of doing this liaising with ANSecurity’s
consultants, sales support and marketing personnel.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Team player with that ability to lead and coach more junior team members
  • Engaging presenter
  • Be a graduate with a good honours degree
  • Be experienced in selling security solutions to the mid-market (either the UK public sector or private sector)
  • Proven ability to work as a team
  • First class qualification skills, with the ability to ask great, thought provoking questions.
  • A great networker, particularly at a senior levels (C-Level)
  • Demonstrable and consistent consultative sales success winning business in a highly competitive environment
  • A solid understanding of core security concepts such as Firewalls, End Point Detection and Response, Network Access Control, Email Security, Governance and SIEM
  • An understanding of the capabilities of core security vendors
  • An understanding of project delivery and project management methodologies

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Exceed individual sales targets as well as assist the company to achieve both profit and non-profit based targets
  • Exceed all other metric targets such as meetings, call time and pipeline generation
  • Plan and carry out sales campaigns to develop new sales opportunity leads through the use of cold calling, socials selling and various marketing activities including strategic partnering
  • Create, maintain and execute a 12 month sales plan to cover both new business development and existing account growth
  • Create and maintain account plans for nominated accounts with the aim of increasing sales activity
  • Respond to incoming sales leads
  • Project manage the collation of larger scale qualified tender activities
  • Lead new business sales meetings and account management meetings with the existing client base
  • Attend ANSecurity marketing events and follow up allocated leads
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaise with ANSecurity on-site staff
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
  • Maintain and develop the ANSecurity computerised customer and prospect database

Security Consultant

Job Purpose

As a Security Consultant you will be supporting our Customers with selecting and specifying market leading network security solutions for a number of our key technologies.  The purpose of the role includes but is not limited to:

  • A strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
  • Responsible for the delivery of projects and services on an end to end basis; including design, delivery, support and troubleshooting to our Customer base (both SME to larger Companies).
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, controllers
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
  • Working alongside members of the Sales Team to provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection for the Customer requirements
  • Work with internal Operations on numerous documentation including the development of Customer Scope of Work Documents
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to support and participate in Customer Webinars and events
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary (some out of hours work will be required)

Essential Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of computer network security who has an in-depth knowledge of many of the technologies we work with.   In addition we expect all our Security Consultants to have a good understanding of most of the following areas and ideally excel in one: Active Directory, Windows, Linux, Routing, Wireless, Firewall Technologies or email.

Technical qualifications:

  • Solid experience working with several of our key technologies
  • Related IT certifications and or degree is advantageous

Soft skills:

  • Planning deployment of small to large sized security solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts and requirements in concise and simple manor
  • Passion for network security and keeping up with technology developments
  • Ability to articulate technical information to those less informed both written and verbally
  • Commitment and drive
  • Confidence and ability to step out of your comfort zone.
  • Be a proactive self-starter and highly motivated with a can do positive attitude.
  • Well-organised and commercially aware

Business Development Executive

Remuneration: Base Salary – plus commission (Uncapped)

Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to start a career in Cyber Security Sales you will join a growing Sales Team as a New Business Development Executive focussed on success and growth.

Cyber Security has never been more relevant, or more in demand. You’ll work collaboratively with clients to anticipate and minimise these risks and protect their most valuable assets.

You will be training and working alongside our successful sales team to develop your skills in both Sales and Cyber Security and have to opportunity to achieve accreditations.

You will be responsible for generating and nurturing sales opportunities for our team via creative outreach …. yes cold calling! The telephone will be your primary strategy, but you will have to leverage other tools and approaches in addition. Your main focus will be to qualify the opportunities for the sales team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Qualify and develop outbound sales leads and respond to product enquiries
  • Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, obtain contact information and begin targeting campaigns
  • Follow-up on all leads generated by marketing and convert initial interest into sales accepted leads
  • Manage email and cold calling campaigns to generate new sales prospects
  • Articulate a sales pitch effectively, securing meetings for our Sales teams to promote ANSecurity and its key services
  • Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in our CRM
  • Strategise with Marketing to target prospect accounts to build pipeline
  • Achieve quarterly targets to include qualified Opportunities
