The aim of the role is to have primary responsibility for acquiring, developing and retaining business within named accounts, whilst prospecting and developing net new customers.
Building an understanding of AN Security’s Customers individual requirements and providing a high level of customer service throughout all communications will be key.
Position AN Security to become the trusted adviser to senior decision makers within each Account. To the point where they are receptive to receiving our advice on the strategic direction of the business in their particular markets.
Regular interfacing with all contact points within each Account from senior decision makers, sales, procurement through to finance with a view to getting higher, wider and deeper into each Customer
To attend Exhibitions and Events on behalf of the company with the aim of promoting the company and gaining valuable new contacts
Understand the vendor programs and initiatives that will enable you to leverage profitability and growth within each Account.
Follow up on all leads from the BDE team
Drive footfall to marketing events
Maximize sales of AN Security portfolio into each Account to include all products, solutions and services.
Articulate the overall value proposition of AN Security and our company solutions.
Utilise relevant vendor programs and initiatives to leverage the profitability and growth within each account
Ownership and reporting on each Account including forecast and monthly predictions with accurate and timely information on lead management, pipeline and key deals.
Plan and Review
Understand each Accounts business including core strategy, financial performance, business/growth goals and total revenue and (including AN Security’s share of wallet by revenue and product mix) and an organisation chart highlighting influencers and senior decision makers.
Own, develop, maintain and execute an Account Development Plan
Be responsible for the whole sales cycle from quote to order delivery
The BDE role is responsible for making initial contact with prospects and customers, building rapport and value and booking appointments for the senior sales team. They will be part of the sales team and work with the senior executives to understand and execute the sales and engagement process.
The main priority is to BANT qualify prospects and identify if there is potential opportunity in this account. Then book a meeting for an Account Manager who then takes over the opportunity.
Understand ANSecurity’s sales messaging and communicate effectively to Customers and Prospects at C-Suite level
Profile, target and call white-space customers with a view to booking qualified appointments
Effectively manage appointment pipeline to meet monthly targets
Engage with our vendors to drive appointment pipeline with account mapping sessions
Represent ANSecurity in a professional way and continually demonstrate a sound understanding of our solutions and the needs of our customers to display our key differentiator over the competition
Responsible for meeting all agreed key performance metrics monthly
Maintain detailed knowledge of all relevant services, solutions and product offerings
Ensure sales documentation is completed on time and in line with the appropriate company standards
Expectation to successfully complete our Sales Training Program
Be accountable for continual learning and education to develop sales skills, and better understand Customer industries and business
Represent the company to our Customers in the most professional way and continually ensure the delivery of operational excellence within every engagement
