Account Director

ANSecurity is a specialist in securing networks and protecting data that helps some of the largest organisations in the UK and global brands to reduce risk and simplify operational management. In fact, the 10 largest ANSecurity clients have aggregate annual turnover in excess of £780 billion, employ over 779,000 staff and include top three players in the fields of financial services, retail and logistics. Public sector customers include local and central government, schools and colleges, police forces and the NHS.

ANSecurity is made up of subject matter experts that are focused on solutions and not just specific brands. This independence is maintained by ongoing certification and accreditation with over 32 leaders in secure information technologies including market stalwarts and innovative start-ups.

But our ethos recognises that technology by itself is not enough to create world class security processes that reduce risk. As such we offer consulting services to help our customers architect mature security methodologies and educational services to help them develop the skills needed to strengthen security from within.

Responsibilities

• Building working relationships with customers and vendors

• Build business within existing and net new customers

• Build new business within in net new customers via business development calling.

• Identifying new profitable sales opportunities with existing customers

• Creating proposals and quotation documentation

• Attending meetings with customers (where applicable)

• Achieving daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT Security technology sales role for a VAR (Account Manager)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organised
  • Highly motivated and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Have an ability to work independently, autonomously and take initiative
  • Have the ability to multi-task and proactively manage various tasks
  • Have excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills
  • Have an ability to demonstrate drive and ambition
  • Use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred but not essential)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
  • Well organised
  • Curious about technology, networks and/or IT security

Business Development Executive

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing sales team as a New Business Development Executive to further increase the sales offering of a wide range of IT solutions. This is a telephone based sales role targeted at creating new opportunities and re-invigorating older and existing accounts.

You must be target driven and able to achieve a minimum and measurable daily level of both outbound call time and quantity and genuinely enjoy selling to and dealing with customers on the phone on a daily basis.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 year telesales experience, preferably within the IT industry, although this is not essential as full training will be given. The candidate must be confident in outlook with a positive ‘can-do’ approach with a high level of customer care. You will have worked within a team environment and be used to hitting your own targets. You must be within commutable distance from Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related business development or sales experience
  • Professional, friendly and the ability to build rapport
  • Must possess the desire to succeed and be obsessive about hitting targets consistently
  • Commercially minded with a high level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills and used to working with CRM tools
  • An expert understanding of the sales process, key sales skills and pipeline management
  • Develop a sales strategy to generate new business
  • Manage and report against targets
  • Liaise with the account management team to ensure smooth and professional handover of new business
