Additional devices, or a requirement of deploying a new service such as voice over WiFi will require surveys to determine correct placement and density of access points and how to optimise the performance of your wireless network to meet your requirements.

These are typically broken into three different stages; Pre-Deployment, Post Deployment, and Health Check.
Whilst virtual or desktop surveys are a fantastic method of predicting the number of access points, with a pre-deployment site survey we can measure the performance encountered within your live environment. Including signal coverage, strength, signal to noise, and data rates. This allows us to provide an accurate kit list and placement of access points.
After a wireless deployment it’s crucial to perform a site survey. The process will validate the installation and allow for finer tuning of your wireless environment.

During a wireless health check, we will perform a post installation site survey so we can discover channel planning, dead spots, as well as wireless interference. A report will be generated with recommended changes.Additionally we can help with all manner of guest or public access requirements for your existing or a new WiFi network.
Typically a wireless survey at any of the three stages will require between 1 and 4 days of professional services, depending on the size of the scoped area, as well as the complexity of the environment. The majority of the work takes place on the customer’s premises with a later portion offsite generating and annotating the relevant reports.
