A message from David's Hood and Peters to explain ANSecurity Business Continuity - Pandemic Policy.
As the UK has moved from ‘contain’ and into the ‘delay’ phase of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to write to our Customers to explain the contingencies that we have put in place to negate any loss of the services that we provide you and how we are working to ensure a business as usual stance.
Like you, our priority is to protect the health and well-being of our team members but that also extends to you and your teams and the teams of our partners and our wider community. We are closely following the advice of Public Health England, the World Health Organisation and The Government. This email outlines a summary of the steps we are taking internally to minimise any disruption and ensure the continuity of our services and commitment to you.
Our infrastructure is set up so that all of our Team Members are able to work remotely from their home location and access all of the business systems they require to complete their day to day tasks whether it be managing customer enquiries, quotations or financials. So much so, from today 18th March 2020 our Team Members will be working from home as much as reasonably possible.
This decision should not directly affect your Company as our Teams will continue to be available during our core business hours (9am – 5:30pm) and any planned out of hours work will continue as normal. Our office phones revert to soft phones which allows you continuous access to our teams, in addition we can all answer any calls coming into the main switchboard (0845 226 0462) and will happily pass any call through or take a message to pass onto a colleague should they not be available to take your call.
During the times where we will need to be in the office, we will continue to follow the precautions that we put in place some weeks ago where we continue to meticulously wash our hands, use hand sanitiser and adopt an element of social distancing. If and when any of our Team Members display any of the described symptoms they will be following Government advice and contacting 111Online and then self-isolating for a period of at least 14 days. We have also restricted the Visitors coming into our environment.
When working remotely, we will continue to communicate regularly with our Customers and going forward, any work of a technical nature may need to be conducted by our Technical Engineers remotely. Should any requirement call for a member of our Technical Team to attend a Customer site we will work with our Customers to ensure that appropriate safe guarding actions are put in place or to find an alternative way of supporting them.
Please note, we have taken the decision to postpone our Customer events planned for April/May 2020 but will of course once this threat has subsided communicate to you all and provide you with the details of our events calendar.
As always, we remain 100% committed to continuing our levels of service and support to you and we pledge to continue to monitor the situation and will provide you with updates either as a Business update or individually.
On a more positive note, keep an eye out on the announcement we will be making at the start of April in relation to our new Sales and Marketing Director who has been recruited to support the growth within ANSecurity.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us either by talking to your key Account Manager, calling the main switchboard or by emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
